ICSI has provided specific CS Foundation eligibility criteria which the aspirants have to comply with in order to proceed with admission into the course of Company Secretaryship.

Educational Qualification: 10+2 or Equivalent Examination
Preferred Streams: Arts, Science and Commerce
Excluded Stream: Fine Arts

Admission Fee: Rs. 1500
Education Fee: Rs. 3000
E-Learning Fee: Rs. 600
Documents Required
Candidates will need some of the document proofs during CS Foundation registration 2020 as provided below:
Recent Photograph of the candidate (20 KB to 50 KB)
Scanned copy of candidate’s signature (10 KB to 20 KB)
Certificate of date of birth
Roll number of 10+2 or equivalent (If appearing)
Class 10+2 Certificate (If passed)
Category Certificate (for candidates other than General category)
Govt. issued proof of identification (Aadhaar card, voter ID card, PAN card, etc.)
All the above-mentioned documents should be already saved by candidates in soft copy format to be uploaded online. All the documents should be in jpg/ jpeg/ png/ gif/ bmp/ pdf format. The maximum size should not exceed 2 MBs.
Detailed Procedure for Registration
Visit the ICSI website at icsi.edu and scroll over the option to ‘Online Services’ and click on ‘Register for CS.
Here, candidates need to select all the boxes against the documents mentioned and then click on ‘Proceed to Registration'.
Here comes the first step to fill CS Foundation registration form where candidates need to enter their basic details like personal information.
This will result in generation of a unique ID which candidates need to take note of in case their payment goes unsuccessful.
The next step requires candidates to fill the educational details
Candidates will be asked the source of information during CS Foundation registration, as to where they got to know about the CS course along with the fee details
Candidates will be required to upload requisite documents in soft copy during CS Foundation registration
After all these steps, candidates will have to confirm all the details shared and then click on ‘Confirm Application’.
The last step requires candidates to choose the mode of payment
Candidates will now be given a request ID and a transaction ID that has to be duly noted for future reference.
This shall reflect the successful payment and end of CS Foundation registration formalities on the part of student.
