ALL ABOUT MCS TRAINING AND ADVANCED ITT

MCS TRAINING

Management and communication skills course is a program designed to enhance participants' abilities to manage people, processes, and projects effectively. It also focuses on developing communication skills to help individuals communicate their ideas, thoughts, and plans efficiently and persuasively. The course covers various topics related to management and communication, such as:


  1. Leadership and Management: The course teaches participants how to lead and manage a team, including setting goals, delegating tasks, and motivating team members to achieve desired outcomes.

  2. Communication Skills: The course covers verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, and effective feedback techniques. It helps participants to communicate their messages clearly, concisely, and assertively.

  3. Conflict Management: The course also teaches participants how to manage conflicts and resolve issues that arise within a team or organization.

  4. Time Management: The course provides techniques for effective time management, including prioritization, planning, and delegation.

  5. Project Management: The course covers project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

  6. Presentation Skills: The course helps participants to deliver compelling presentations that engage and persuade their audience.

  7. Emotional Intelligence: The course teaches participants how to recognize and regulate their emotions, as well as the emotions of others, to create a positive work environment.

Overall, the management and communication skills course helps participants to become effective managers and leaders who can communicate their ideas and plans clearly and efficiently, lead teams, and achieve desired outcomes.


ELIGIBILITY

A student enrolled in practical training must finish the Management and Communication Course (MCS) offered by AlCITSS during the final two years of their training in order to be eligible to sit for the final exam.


DURATION

The classes are scheduled for 6 hours per day in 15 working days.


Fee

The fee shall be Rs 7, 000 (Seven thousand only) per student on non-residential basis, inclusive of course material and

tea/refreshments.

I. BUSINESS COMMUNICATION (2 Days)

II. PRESENTATION (3 Days)

  • The Anatomy of a Successful Presentation

  • Technique for Structuring Content that resonates with your audience

  • Technique for Structuring Content when you are presenting to Senior Executives

  • Strategies for Structuring Content

  • Do’s and Don’ts in Presentation Skills


III. INTERPERSONAL AND NEGOTIATION SKILLS (3 Days)

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness, Assertiveness Skills & Perception Management.

  • Art of Negotiation, Conflict Management, Leadership Skills, Human & Organizational Behavioural Approach.

  • IQ vs. EQ vs. MQ, Building Versatility & Adaptability, Understanding one’s Attitude, Gender Sensitivity.

  • Client Interfacing, Stress Management


IV. LEADERSHIP, TEAM BUILDING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT (2 Days)

  • Workshop on Team Building for a Strong synergy and harmony‐ How to build successful teams and how to build teamwork culture.

  • How to market self, Compliance, Ethics, Penalty for Non‐compliance

  • Role and qualities of a Leader

  • Professional Opportunities for CAs, Enhancing Opportunities for Women Members ‐ Identifying emerging areas for upliftment of women members wherein they can contribute their services for their professional growth.



V. OFFICE ETIQUETTES PART ‐1 (1 Day)

  • Professional attire, Managing business meetings, Business lunch / dinner / parties, Table etiquettes, How etiquettes are essential both at the personal and professional level, Rules for business etiquettes, Do’s and Don’ts while interacting with government officials and other dignitaries.

  • OFFICE ÉTIQUETTES (Part 2)

Basic etiquette at the office ‐ Hand shake, Interview etiquette, Non Verbal communication‐ Why is it important, Understanding the movement and body language etc.


VI. INTERVIEW PREPARATION (2 Days)

  • CV writing CV evaluation workshop, Group Discussion‐

ADVANCED ITT

Subsequent to the new syllabi of the CA curriculum, Advanced ITT course syllabi has been revised and renamed as AICITSS -Advanced Information Technology. Advanced Information Technology Course (AITC) by ICAI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) offers an Advanced Information Technology Course for members who want to enhance their knowledge and skills in IT. The course covers topics like computer networks, database management, and information systems audit. Each student should leave the course with the ability to use IT tools effectively and efficiently as well as the interpersonal and leadership skills necessary to succeed in today's highly competitive worldwide market.


  • Develop practical skills in order to comprehend the complexities of auditing in ERP environments using IT.

  • To comprehend the significance of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and their impact on the evaluation of ERP controls, application controls, and access rights.

  • To provide training on application software relevant to the work of a professional accountant, such as auditing in an ERP environment, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), MS Excel as an audit tool, and advanced features of electronic spreadsheets, database management systems, and so on.

ELIGIBILITY

A student undergoing Practical training will be required to complete a Course on Advanced Information Technology (Advanced IT) under AICITSS during the last two years of Practical training before being eligible to sit for the Final Examination.

A student is required to successfully complete Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills(AICITSS) consisting of Advanced Information Technology (Advanced IT) and Management and Communication Skills (MCS) Course each of 15 days during the last two years of Practical training but compulsory before appearing for the final examination. The Course is designed with an idea that at the end of the session, each and every student is well equipped to cope up with the effective and efficient use of IT Tools and to develop interpersonal and leadership skills as per global competitive environment.
