A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is given to those who have completed the CFA® Program and completed acceptable work experience requirements. It is a three-part exam that tests the fundamentals of investment tools, valuing assets, portfolio management, and wealth planning. The CFA Program is typically completed by those with backgrounds in finance, accounting, economics, or business.

CFA Level 1
It is computer-based exam and consists of 180 MCQs, split between two 135-minute sessions (session times are approximate).
CFA Level 3
It is computer-based exam with MCQs and constructed response (essay) questions and will be 4 hrs and 24 mins, split into two equal sessions of 2 hrs and 12 mins, with an optional break in-between.
